Preventive Medicine

Primary Care

Dr. Mukund Das, MD

Dr. Mukund Das serves as the Medical Director of Town MD and is also the founder of DasMD Clinic. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Rutgers University in 2009. He later attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, graduating in 2016, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in 2019.

Since completing his residency, Dr. Das has gained broad clinical experience caring for patients with a wide range of medical needs. During his time in hospital settings, he treated many serious and life-threatening conditions, including hypertensive emergencies and urgencies, diabetic ketoacidosis and uncontrolled hyperglycemia, decompensated heart failure, COPD and asthma exacerbations, various arrhythmias, infectious diseases, and other complex medical conditions.

Those experiences also showed him how often preventive medicine, patient education, and reinforcement of medication compliance can receive too little attention in modern healthcare. Dr. Das strongly believes that when a doctor takes time to clarify a patient’s situation and walk through the available treatment options, patients are more likely to understand their care and stay consistent with their medications.

For Dr. Das, the goal of primary care is to help prevent hospitalization through the early detection and effective management of disease. He recognizes the unique health challenges many patients face today, and his goal is to build a model of primary care that helps reduce illness while improving the overall quality of health for his patients.

Dr. Daniel Hanna, DC

Dr. Daniel Hanna is a chiropractor who believes good care starts with listening. Every patient comes in with a different story, different goals, and a different reason for wanting to feel better. His approach is centered on understanding those needs and creating a treatment plan that feels practical, personal, and comfortable.

Dr. Hanna graduated from Rutgers University in 2009 and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport in 2013. Over the years, he has worked with patients dealing with everyday aches, injuries, and discomfort involving the back, neck, shoulders, hips, and knees.

His treatments may include spinal manipulation, myofascial release, manual and soft-tissue therapy, dynamic therapeutic exercises, bracing, breathing techniques, electrical stimulation, and shockwave therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr. Hanna chooses techniques based on what makes the most sense for each individual patient.

For him, the goal is simple: help people move more comfortably, feel better in their day-to-day lives, and get back to doing the things that matter to them.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hanna is deeply connected to his family, faith, and community. He serves as a Subdeacon at Saint Mark’s Cathedral and spends much of his free time supporting his church and local community. He is also happily married and considers family, faith, and service an important part of who he is, both personally and professionally.
